Entry requirements

Undergraduate

We require a Атэстат аб агульнай сярэдняй адукацыi (Certificate of General Secondary Education) and the successful completion of an international foundation year or equivalent.

Postgraduate

We require a Дыплом cпецыяліста (Specialist Diploma) when awarded after five years of study or a Дыплом магiстра (Master's degree).

The grading scale ranges from 0–10 with 10 being the highest.

English language requirements

We will not accept a Belarusian English language qualification as meeting our minimum English language proficiency requirements. Find out more about our English language requirements.

Degree preparation courses at the International College

If you complete your pathway course at the International College at the required level, you are guaranteed entry to a degree at the University of Brighton. Available degree subject areas include accounting and finance, art and design, business management, law with business, and many more.

Home from home

If you're looking for a little taste of home when you're in Brighton, you can check out TheWitcheZ Cafe for some delicious European dishes, or for a nice meal out with friends you can head to Fourth and Church restaurant in Hove, or you can jump on a quick train to London and check out Rinkoff's Bakery and Deli for some authentic Belarusian babka.

There are also a number of societies you can get involved with where you can find like-minded people with similar interests which gives you the opportunity to be involved in society events to help you ease into student life and get familiar with the city. If you can't find a society that suits your interests then you can start your own society!

Whether you are studying an undergraduate degree or adding to your existing qualifications with a masters’ course, it's important to think about how you will use your time at university and your degree course to help you find your job when you graduate.
