Entry requirements

Undergraduate

We require an Apolytirion when awarded after six years of study or a Devlet Lise Diplomasi (State High School Diploma) plus an acceptable international foundation year or equivalent.

Postgraduate

We require a four year Ptychio or a bachelor’s degree (post-2001). The grading scale ranges between 1-10, with 10 being the highest and 1 being the lowest, with a minimum pass mark of 5.

English language requirements

We will not accept a Cypriot English language qualification as meeting our minimum English language proficiency requirements. Find out more about our English language requirements.

Degree preparation courses at the International College

If you complete your pathway course at the International College at the required level, you are guaranteed entry to a degree at the University of Brighton. Available degree subject areas include accounting and finance, art and design, business management, law with business, and many more.

Home from home

If you're looking for a little taste of home when you're in Brighton, you can check out Estia Kitchen for some authentic Cypriot cuisine, or for a nice place to go with family and friends head to Nostos in Hove for some delicious Greek Cypriot fusion, and for something a little more laid back you should go to Kouzina in the Open Market.

There are also a number of societies you can get involved with where you can find like-minded people with similar interests which gives you the opportunity to be involved in society events to help you ease into student life and get familiar with the city. If you can't find a society that suits your interests then you can start your own society!
