Entry requirements

Undergraduate

We require a Baccalauréat (le bac) or the Option Internationale du Baccalauréat (International Option of the French Baccalaureate or OIB).

Postgraduate

We require a post-2008 three-year Licence, or a pre-2008 Licence plus a one-year Maîtrise or a three year Diplôme d'Ingénieur. The grading scale for all qualifications ranges from 1 to 20, with 20 being the highest and 1 being the lowest as follows:

If you complete your pathway course at the International College at the required level, you are guaranteed entry to a degree at the University of Brighton. Available degree subject areas include accounting and finance, art and design, business management, law with business, and many more.

Home from home

If you're looking for a little taste of home when you're in Brighton, you can check out Petit Pois restaurant for some authentic French cuisine, for a place to go with your family you can check out Du Vin Bistro in the Lanes, for some great breakfast you can check out Mange Tout near the station, and for something more laid back you can go to Julien Plumart's cafe for some delicious macaroons and coffee.

There are also a number of societies you can get involved with where you can find like-minded people with similar interests which gives you the opportunity to be involved in society events to help you ease into student life and get familiar with the city. If you can't find a society that suits your interests then you can start your own society!
