Settling in
We know it can be daunting to move country, so we will help you to settle in by:
Home from home
If you're looking for a little taste of home when you're in Brighton, you can check out Shandiz restaurant in Hove for some authentic Persian cuisine, for a nice place to go with family or friends you should check out Shiraz restaurant, and for when you don't want to leave the house order from Shayan's for a taste of home at home.
There are also a number of societies you can get involved with where you can find like-minded people with similar interests which gives you the opportunity to be involved in society events to help you ease into student life and get familiar with the city. If you can't find a society that suits your interests then you can start your own society!
Your employability
Whether you are studying an undergraduate degree or adding to your existing qualifications with a masters’ course, it's important to think about how you will use your time at university and your degree course to help you find your job when you graduate.
When you leave university we help to make sure you don't just have your degree but you have all the skills and experience you need to find your perfect job.
All of our courses either offer the opportunity for a paid placement year as part of your degree, or work-related learning within your course to help you apply your academic skills and knowledge in a professional environment, to develop industry contacts, and to best prepare you for life after university.
