Entry requirements

Undergraduate

We require an Esame di Stato.

Postgraduate

We require a Diploma di Laurea or Licenza di Accademia di Belle Arti or Diploma di Mediatore Linguistic orDiploma di Laurea (Vecchio Ordinamento) or Diploma accademico di primo livello.

English language requirements

We will not accept an Italian English language qualification as meeting our minimum English language proficiency requirements. Find out more about our English language requirements.

Degree preparation courses at the International College

If you complete your pathway course at the International College at the required level, you are guaranteed entry to a degree at the University of Brighton. Available degree subject areas include accounting and finance, art and design, business management, law with business, and many more.

If you're looking for a taste of home when you're in Brighton, you can check out V.I.P restaurant for some authentic Italian pizza, or you can check out Al Duomo restaurant near Brighton Pavilion, for something a little more laid back you can check out Mediterraneo cafe and restaurant, or for some great coffee in the lanes you can go to Si Signore. 

There are also a number of societies you can get involved with where you can find like-minded people with similar interests which gives you the opportunity to be involved in society events to help you ease into student life and get familiar with the city. If you can't find a society that suits your interests then you can start your own society!

Whether you are studying an undergraduate degree or adding to your existing qualifications with a masters’ course, it's important to think about how you will use your time at university and your degree course to help you find your job when you graduate.
