This module is designed for senior practitioners working in the field of mental health or social care, who have had significant practice experience in relation to making decisions in demanding, complex and challenging situations.
The module aims to support students in developing evidence-informed practice, by identifying and critically evaluating research relevant to their area of practice.
Topics included in teaching include navigating professional responsibilities, promoting ethical practice and critical reflection.
At the end of the module learners will produce a 5,000-word article, suitable for publication, exploring the research and knowledge base of a practice issue.
