The exhibition, commemorating the centenary of the Great War, will display material published in the soldiers' magazine, Pavilion Blues, between 1916 and 1919.
Dr Lucy Noakes, from the university's Faculty of Arts, will be curating the exhibition with colleagues Dr Gill Scott, Sam Carroll, Pawel Leszkovicz and Tomasz Kitlinsk
Dr Noakes said: "Using material from the Royal Pavilion & Museums, Brighton & Hove City Council, and the University of Brighton Design Archives, its historic interest resonates with contemporary debates about war, disability and military rehabilitation."
The exhibition will be at the university's café foyer, 58-67 Grand Parade, Brighton, between 16 April and 9 May, from 10am to 4.30pm Monday to Saturday. Admission is free.
