The professorial roles on offer provide opportunities for outstanding researchers to deliver senior leadership in our new Colleges and to contribute to, or develop, a cluster of research excellence. The roles available are:
Professor
Full professors will have established careers that show evidence of sustained excellence and depth.
Adjunct Professor
An adjunct professor will hold influential positions in sectors outside higher education. They will spend a minimum of 0.2 and maximum of 0.4 of their time working at the university. They will help to maximise the impact of the university’s work in industry and other sectors.
Professorial Fellow
A professorial fellow will hold a permanent position at a university other than Brighton, either within the UK or abroad, or an influential position in a sector outside higher education. Their professorial fellowship at Brighton will take the form of a fixed-term secondment to work at the university on a specific programme of enquiry.
