University of Brighton students Megan Leckie and Joseph Palmer believe "kids are experts" and don’t always want to keep "blowing themselves up" on computers.
The two have launched Block Builders, a Community Interest Company that imports map details into Minecraft™ so models of real-world places can be created.
Minecraft™, dubbed 'virtual Lego', was bought by Microsoft for $2.5 billion in 2014 and now has more than 100 million registered players.
Joseph, who graduated with a BA(Hons) in Design and Craft in 2014 and MA Sustainable Design in 2016 is now studying a PhD at the university within the Business School. He and Megan, studying MSc in Town Planning, met at the university in 2014.
