Hannah Gibbins, 23 and a Fashion with Business Studies BA(Hons) student who graduates from the University of Brighton this year, won the Debenhams Menswear Award at the Graduate Fashion Week (GFW) in June.
Pure London, the largest festival of its kind, has announced its collaboration with GFW and will show award-winning designs, including those by Hannah Gibbins, at Olympia starting this Sunday (22 July): “As part of Pure London’s ongoing commitment to supporting up-and-coming design talent, visitors will be able to see the inspiring and visionary work of these newly graduated designers on the catwalk throughout the three-day event.”
Hannah said: “I am so thrilled about this opportunity to show a look from my collection at Pure London. It is such an honour to be chosen to represent GFW and to be a part of this collaboration alongside other talented designers.
“It’s an excellent opportunity to be at one of the largest fashion trade shows; to meet and be inspired by other designers and buyers.”
Craig Higgins, the university’s fashion course leader and GFW trustee, said: “The Graduate Fashion Week and Pure London collaboration is an amazing way to support our graduates at the start of their careers and is a fantastic opportunity for the GFW award winners. Pure is one of the largest fashion industry trade shows and will give Hannah's menswear collection exposure to vast and varied industry audience.”
