Artists, performers, researchers, consultants, educators and more – 170 delegates from around the world in total – will contribute to the four-day event, which is organised by the Brighton Business School and held at the university’s School of Art at Grand Parade (now City campus).
Speakers at the conference include Sussex-based musician Richard Durrant, music teacher Mike Reinstein and keynote speaker, theatre director Richard Olivier. Sam Warren, Professor of Organisation Studies and Human Resource Management at the University of Portsmouth, will also perform a live audio-visual DJ set.
The university’s Vice-Chancellor Professor Debra Humphris said: “Brighton Business School prides itself on its collaborative, creative and innovative approach to teaching and learning, so we are delighted to be hosting this unique conference in the city of Brighton and Hove.
“This city is known for its creativity, energy and vibrancy – very much like the wonderful Art of Management Organisation community.”
The conference incorporates presentations, interactive workshops, community art projects, installations and performances. The events will examine the theme of work and business, including our “need to succeed”.
