Sandra Ruge, BSc(Hons) Business with Marketing and last year’s winner of the MTD Management Training Prize, said: “All job roles include aspects of selling, both directly and indirectly, so doing this course will allow me to improve my current skills and learn new skills to help me excel in my career.” She was the best performing student on the university’s Managing and Developing People module, a core final year module across the BSc(Hons) Business Management programme. She won a two-day Essential Management Skills training course with CMI & CPD Accreditation work over £544.
Holly Charman, BSc(Hons) Marketing Management and winner of the MTD Sales Training Prize, said: “It’s great to build on our on-going relationship with MTD.” Holly’s award was for being the best performing student on our Marketing Management and Leadership module – a new core module for 2018 on the university’s BSc(Hons) Marketing Management programme. She won a two-day Essential Selling Skills training course with ISM Accreditation worth over £525.
A third prize last year went to Paige Hall (BSc(Hons) Business Management who took the Skillshub Prize for the student with the best feedback and developmental goals report on our Managing and Developing People module.
