This fund is part of the main student support fund and is only available to continuing, full-time, undergraduate students who are facing financial hardship over the long summer vacation.
This could be due to a number of reasons such as:
- Having caring responsibilities - for a child, relative, partner or other adult.
- Having health issues or a disability which may affect ability to seek paid employment
- Securing an unpaid placement June - September
- Not being able to return to the family home for the summer
- Having to use Housing Hand to secure private accommodation in 2026-2027 academic year
Please note that this list is not exhaustive and we welcome applications from any eligible student who is facing exceptional unforeseen circumstances.
Exceptions
