Engineering and technology training delivered in-company

Our in-company engineering and technology courses are designed and delivered by industry and academic experts to meet the needs of your business.

We develop training at all levels, from early stage to advanced skills and strategic capabilities.

Below are some examples of how we have partnered with businesses to deliver bespoke training.

Developing an industry-led specialist qualification

The South East 7 group of councils needed a training programme to equip civil engineers with the key skills of public sector highway management.

Working in partnership with South East 7, private contractors Balfour Beatty, May Gurney and Amey, the University of Brighton developed the first postgraduate qualification in the UK to cover this specialised area.

We had the ideas. The university provided the academic rigour. Together we shaped them into specific learning outcomes and objectives.

Providing accessible training for a global workforce

Pipe px, Fenland RP Ltd, Luxus Ltd and Plastipak are just some of the businesses who have benefitted from expert-led training in the design and manufacture of plastic products from the University of Brighton.

In response to the needs of these international businesses, the university has created a series of online training packages with a strong practical component.

The University provided fantastic insight into the numerous technologies. Very good use of my time.
