Moulsecoomb, City and Falmer Clearing campus visit days

Our Clearing campus visit days are a brilliant opportunity for you to meet our students and staff, have a look around our campus, and get a really good idea of what it's like to study at Brighton.

We will publish new information about Clearing events in 2025 when these events have been scheduled.

Courses in Clearing

A large number of our courses have places available in Clearing but these are closed to new applications for September 2024.

If you are not holding an offer with us, you should check to see if your course is open for Clearing applications before visiting us.

Search our course finder and then choose the category "Places in Clearing".

If your course is closed to Clearing applications, you could try searching for an alternative course or, if your heart is set on a particular course, you could think about applying through Clearing in 2025.

About the day

We recommend that you allow for four hours to make the most of your visit. This is how your day might look:

10 - 10.30am: register with our lovely team. You'll need the QR code on your booking confirmation email. You must register between 10 - 10:30am.
10.30 - 11am: attend our Welcome to the University of Brighton talk.
11am - 12pm: take a tour of our campus with a current University of Brighton student.
12 - 1pm: chat to our academics.
12 - 2pm: chat to our Student Support Services teams, which are open to guests from any campus, but which will be based at Moulsecoomb campus.*
After your day: head into Brighton to explore the city

* Please note that the student support desks will be available to visit in Elm House foyer, on the Moulsecoomb campus. The Moulsecoomb campus is a 10 minute drive away from both City and Falmer campuses. The address to get to the correct location using Google is: University of Brighton Moulsecoomb Parking Facility, BN2 4GJ. You will be able to park for free at the multistorey car park. Alternatively, you can take public transport to Moulsecoomb campus. Speak to one of our friendly ambassadors or staff members who will be able to provide you with a voucher for free bus travel on the day.

Getting here and registration

Make sure you come to the right campus for your course. There are lots of ways to check - on our course finder, when you book your place and in your booking confirmation email for the campus visit day.

City campus

Your registration point is at our Grand Parade building, Grand Parade, Brighton, BN2 0JY.

Getting here

We recommend taking public transport if possible, as there is no on-site parking at our City campus.

Train: the closest train station is Brighton which is a 10-minute walk from the campus. Check the Southern Railway website for the latest information.
Bus: many buses service this central route, alight at the North Road bus stop for City campus. Visit the Brighton and Hove Bus Company website for their timetable.
Bicycle: cycle lanes run from the city centre and there are cycle stands off William Street.
Car: there is no parking on campus but there are plenty of multi-storey car parks in the centre of Brighton.

Moulsecoomb campus

Your registration point is Elm House, Lewes Road, Brighton, BN2 4GJ.

Getting here

Train: The closest train station is Moulsecoomb which is a two-minute walk from your registration point. Check the Southern Railway website for the latest information.
Bus: Buses run regularly, visit the Brighton and Hove Bus Company website for their timetable.
Car: You will be able to park for free at our multistorey car park. The address to get to the correct location using Google is: University of Brighton Moulsecoomb Parking Facility, BN2 4GJ
Bicycle: Cycle lanes run from the city centre.

Falmer campus

Your registration point is at the Checkland Building 3rd floor foyer, Village Way, Brighton, BN1 9PH.

Getting here

Train: Falmer railway station is a short walk from the campus and Brighton mainline station is three stops away. Check the Southern Railway website for the latest information.
Bus: The 25 and 23 run regularly from central Brighton. For timetables and student fares visit the Brighton and Hove Bus Company website.
Car: Please park in the upper car park on our Falmer campus. The car park postcode is BN1 9PH. Parking is free for attendees.
Bicycle: Cycle lanes run between Falmer campus and Brighton city centre.
