Annabelle has just graduated from University of Brighton with 3D Design and Craft BA(Hons), and was selected by Crafts Council curator Brian Kennedy in an Experts' Edit feature published on the prestigious organisation's website.
Annabelle's boldly geometric vases, tables and other objects combine digital design with natural forms from her native Sussex landscape. She also makes striking use of materials such as iron slag rock (a by-product of separating metal from ore) which she found near Hamsey Village.
Annabelle said: "I feel very honoured to be selected as one of the 2021 graduates set to shine by the Crafts Council. It is really encouraging to receive such wonderful feedback about my work.
"My time at University of Brighton has been a real keystone in my life, and although it has been particularly challenging during the pandemic, I am so grateful for all the wonderful experiences - and I am really excited for my future going forward in my career."
