CAPPE welcomes applications for PhD study around its three research strands: applied philosophy and ethics; critical theory and radical politics; and social movements and global politics.
We welcome students from professional backgrounds, for example in the arts, in the public sector or the medical professions, who already have experience and wish to consolidate and contribute knowledge that draws on their expert backgrounds. Our MA courses provide excellent preparation for PhD study.
For more details, to find and contact a supervisor, and to make an application, please visit the University of Brighton PhD programme information for Philosophy, Politics and Ethics; or for personal advice contact us by email at CAPPE@brighton.ac.uk.
